  Do not use this company! I was told they work with USAA insurance all the time and they could repair my home from a pipe breaking from start to finish. It was a nightmare, almost 7 weeks without a kitchen before I hired someone else to finish the job! The office staff, project manager and owner gave me one excuse after another, terrible communication, terrible customer service. I can't speak for the workmanship it's self cause they never came back to do the repairs. I submitted a complain to USAA and was told "they are not one of our preferred contractors." Maybe Capefear Flooring and Restoration was a great company that's just overwhelmed or understaffed but don't let that be at the expense of your project... literally and figuratively.

  I did my research and initially chose this company because of their location in proximity to the job they would be contracted to perform. At first I was ready to just throw in the towel and cut my losses. I was so disappointed, but...... a different salesman came out and observed the job and went to the owner to let her know firsthand I was not just some hard to please customer, just complaining. She gave him permission to make things right. It took a while, but I am thoroughly pleased with the outcome, did I say, "pleased", ecstatic is more like it. All companies will probably have some negative reviews, this company showed me that there are still some companies out there who won't just take your money and leave you dissatisfied. I would certainly do business again with Cape Fear Flooring and have shared the experience with friends and family, the unfavorable part of course but I make sure they know that in the end this company proved themselves to be of an old fashioned nature where they truly care about their customers and will stand behind there work and do their best to leave you pleased that you gave them your business. A great big thumbs up to Mr. J.R. Jackson and the owner of the company, they are still willing to treat the customers right!
